Ph.D. Candidate

I am a PhD student from Colombia with general interest on marine ecosystem functioning in relationship with their associated biodiversity with particular focus on benthic macrofauna. My research focuses on the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem multifunctionality in a Cymodocea nodosa seagrass meadow in function of their habitat complexity in a coastal lagoon in the west coast of Sicily.
Keywords: ecosystem multifunctionality, functional diversity, Aquatic Eddy Covariance, benthic ecology, invertebrate macrofauna
