I am a first year student of a National Doctorate in Biodiversity, provided by the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC) based at the University of Palermo. The focus of my research will be to understand how the effects of Climate change and multiple anthropogenic stressors will influence the relationship between biodiversity and ecosystem functioning (BEF). In particular, I will evaluate the flow of contaminants through marine food webs and how these can affect organisms at different trophic levels.
